Create easy and simple Korean dishes that you enjoy! Send us an entertaining, fun, easy-to follow Youtube video on how to cook these dishes

(January 1st- January 31st, 2016)

The 3 selected winners will receive:

Any one who brings in a photo of the poster either from SNS or offline can bring it into our offline stores in Los Angeles for a 10% discount on any item.

How to enter:

Once you upload your cooking video on YouTube, you should send us your Youtube link directly at: event@rolandshop.com.

We will send you a confirmation email when we receive your video submission, and you will automatically become a qualified contestant.

Or you can also submit your video through our Facebook at the following: Facebook.com/Rolandshopcom. Once you're on this Facebook, you should be able to see a "Roland Shop's K-Food Video Contest" Tab. Once you are on this tab, you should also be able to see a "Vote" tab next to the "Enter"tab, which will show you all the submitted videos. However, this tab will only be visible on February 1st, 2016 when the voting period is in session. Simply submit your entry with your email, Youtube link, and a caption for your video. Viewers will be able to look through the submission and click the "Vote" button for one video that they find the most interesting. Please keep in mind that the "Like" button on each video are excluded in the voting session, and viewers should only use the "Vote" button for the video that they want to put their vote on.

Video Submission Period: January 1st- January 31st, 2016

Eligibility: 

• Must have a love for Korean-food!
• Contestants are required to cook simple Korean food. You are also allowed to put your own creative twist to the food if desired (e.g. Fusion Korean food).
• The video must be your original creation
• Videos must be in English, and should not exceed 15 minutes
• The title should start with "RolandShop K-Food" 
• Must create or have an existing Youtube account in order to upload your cooking video
• Please send us a YouTube link of the cooking video before the deadline (Januart 31st, 3016) in order to be qualified
• Must be living within the United States, Mexico, or Canada.
• Disclaimer: We will have the rights to distribute selected participants’ videos on our website

Basic Cooking Contest guidelines:

Judges' votes will account for 50%  and viewers voting will account for 50%.

Judges will be using the following criteria (50%):

• Presentation (Visually appealing, freshness, variety, and organization
• Technique (How well the ingredients of the dish were brought together)
• Creativity (Originality, unique, new)
• Entertaining (The quality of the overall video, how well your video grabs the attention of the audience)

 The voting (50%) period will occur during the whole month of February & we will announce the winners on March 1st, 2016
