Laurastar History/Background

Laurastar is a Swiss company that invented the professional ironing system for private use in 1986. Laurastar is the worldwide leader in premium steam stations and has the international patent on commercial-grade dry steam technology for home use. To effectively steam clothes, you need moisture and steam to relax fibers and then dry heat to set fibers. Dry steam technology has the ability to relax and set fibers in one easy step. It’s quicker, more efficient, water-saving, safer, and gentler on clothes. Laurastar’s steam is dry to the touch, ultra-fine, and ultra-powerful. Studies have displayed that on average, about 70% of clothes sent to the cleaner don’t actually need to be cleaned. They just need to be refreshed or pressed. Laurastar can save on dry cleaning bills drastically because it’s safe to use on all fabrics, including “dry clean only”. The compact and light Laurastar Lift Pure White is the first steam generator with a handle that lets you take it everywhere, from the ironing board to the clothes hanger. The ultra-light professional soleplate distributes an ultra-fine yet powerful steam that’s compatible with all fabrics. The soleplate’s round shape makes ironing easier and prevents unwanted creases. The Lift Pure white also features a special heat-resistant iron mat, a protective soleplate for delicate fabrics, a steam cord holder and an anti-scale water filter cartridge.

Laurastar Magic iS6 Ironing System

The Laurastar Magic iS6 Ironing System is the first lightweight professional iron that is more convenient and less strenuous to use. Its intelligent, intuitive function of the automatic steam allows for effortless ironing that is twice as fast. The double volume of fine steam provides a lasting result, leaving no damp traces. The automatic, silent blower and vacuum from the 2-speed board provides cold, crease-free ironing. A constant pressure of 3.5 bars produces 200 liters of steam volume per minute, which results in efficient ironing quality. This Ironing system features an iron safety storage box to keep the still-warm iron well protected. The board is foldable with six height adjustment settings for all ironing concerns. The iron contains a scale filter allowing ordinary water to be used and extending the iron’s service life. The iron heats rapidly and is ready for use in 5 minutes. The steam tank is also removable, holding up to 1.2 liters of water for continuous ironing. It is a portable system due to its two pairs of integrated wheels and its reduced size of 20 cm when stored.
